Initiated in 2017, the RBP (Residential Building Project) construction site resumed with the return of the summer season in July. The project involves the construction of a residential building that will be able to accommodate 15 to 20 students living in villages too far away to be able to make the daily trip to school. Under the guidance of two supervisors, 9 Nepalese workers worked throughout the summer with the participation of two carpenters from France.

Despite some contingencies such as the malfunction of the water pumps, which forced the installation of water transport by truck or tractor, the construction objectives were achieved. At the end of the summer, all the walls were completed, the window frames were installed and the roof of the two wings of the building in place.

The work will resume for a third and final phase next summer to complete the building: roofing of the central hall, fitting of the windows and floor, installation of the photovoltaic panels and interior arrangements. The objective is for the first children to be able to move into the building at the beginning of the school year in March 2020. The official inauguration ceremony is already scheduled for the summer of 2020.
